Messiah University’s master’s in nursing program will help prepare you to take the National League for Nursing (NLN) Certified Nurse Educator examination after meeting the practice requirement for eligibility. Our MSN degree program additionally provides a strong foundation should you choose to pursue doctoral study.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, the master's degree program in nursing, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Messiah University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

The curriculum for the Master of Science in Nursing is designed to prepare graduate-level nurse educators for entry-level teaching positions in undergraduate nursing education or in clinical practice settings. Accelerated and part-time plans of study are available.

We put the true cost of your program upfront so that you can accurately compare and plan for your graduate education. There are additional costs to the program not billed through Messiah University (background checks, clearances, course materials, clinical expenses, etc.)

No-fee tuition per graduate credit hour: $800
Tuition cost for the entire program at the 2025-2026 rate: $30,400 (38 credits) to $31,200 (39 credits)
Graduate students are eligible to apply for federal financial aid.
