As Director, Dr. Simmons leads the Teacher Education Program and serves as Certification Officer and Chair of the Teacher Education Committee.

Mrs. McGill manages the field experience courses, ensuring that students meet all the requirements for the experience. She also serves as the liaison between the student, field experience supervisor, and the cooperating teacher. She can answer questions about field experience requirements and assist with any questions or concerns that the student, supervisor, or cooperating teacher/mentor may have.

Mrs. Pitcher-Johnson serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Teacher Education Program. She communicates information about TEP requirements and procedures, coordinates events and meetings, and assists with day-to-day tasks in the office. She also helps answer any questions that students have about clearances, TEP requirements, and more.

Mrs. Keefer serves as the Field Placement and Certification Coordinator for the Teacher Education Program. She works with local districts to secure placement for all sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the program. She can answer questions about different stages of placements as well as the process for seniors to become certified teachers in Pennsylvania.
