Our Alumni

Regional and national employers seek out Messiah graduates for their academic preparation, work ethic and personal character. The transformation you experience at Messiah readies you to transform the lives of others through your chosen career path.

Hands-on experience

You won’t have to wait to test out your skills in a business setting, because you can also get real world experience at Messiah by participating in one of our digital media internships. You will take part in a collaborative digital media project during your senior year and practice your skills in the film and media production studio — opened in 2015 but constantly evolving to stay up-to-date to the industry standards—that includes a green room, Foley affects studio, broadcast control room and more. In fact, Messiah's accrediting body, NASAD, called this studio "enviable." Better yet: you'll have access to this high-tech space and equipment early in your college career, rather than junior year at larger universities. In addition to on-campus learning, you may even choose to study at one of our 40 study abroad locations worldwide!

Through your coursework and hands-on experience, you will prepare for a career as a web, graphic, sound or game designer; video editor; mobile application or game programmer; or minister of worship.

Messiah's unique approach to hands-on learning

Learning in the classroom is important but actually applying that knowledge in a hands-on way can make all the difference. At Messiah University, the Experiential Learning Initiative (ELI) allows Messiah to take this hands-on learning to a new level by giving students the opportunity to apply what they have learned to various real world contexts--such as an internship/practica, service learning, off-campus program, holding a student leadership position, or participating in undergraduate research.
