PDE Certification - PK-Grade 4 Teaching Certification

The PK-4 Teaching Certification is designed to provide students with the competencies to teach pre-kindergarten through grade 4. Students may elect to do an additional 12 credits to earn the M.Ed. in Elementary Education. Those who are able to secure a full-time or long-term substitute teaching position while pursuing their teaching certification may apply for the Pennsylvania intern certification program.
